Keyboards first went through a Checkit 3.0 keyboard test on a DataTrain DPC-2112 286 computer to separate AT keyboard from XT keyboard.

XT keyboards were then tested on a DPC-1000 XT and AT keyboards on the DPC-2112 for functionality. Those not working 100% were disassembled and had the matrix sheets/PCB contacts and key contacts cleaned and reassembled.

Keyboards were then tested again and those still not 100% functional were recycled.

Switch type XT/AT keyboards were then tested using QAPlus-XT and all were fully tested on both computers to determine which were auto-switching.
